Join us on Zoom on Wednesday, March 20th at 6pm for Gardening & Foraging for Witches with Melissa Madara, a beginner-friendly virtual class to explore the the tools & folklore of the witch's garden.

This class will examine the rituals of growing and harvesting herbs within European witchcraft traditions, reaching deep into the ancient past for tips & techniques that we can incorporate into our magical gardening practices today. Ateendees will learn useful harvesting rituals for magical plants, the basics of best gardening practices, and practical tools to help gardening witches in their work. By looking at existing charms, rites, and spells of the witch's garden, along with philosophical and practical approaches to growing magical plants, this class will offer a practical, informed approach to growing and crafting your own botanical allies at home.

Whether you're greatly experienced with magic and plants or just beginning your journey, there will be lots to learn and consider within this ~120 + minute class. Together, we will cover:

+ Plant sorcery and allyship
+ Magical plant families in detail
+ Planetary magic of the witch's garden
+ A litany of historical charms and spells
+ Harvesting ettiquette in both magical and mundane spheres
+ Plant anatomy and correspondences
+ Historical sources, reference texts, and handy resources to get you started!

This event will be recorded for all ticketholders. If you miss our live class, recordings will be sent along afterward.
